The Myotherapist Who Became a Social Media Foodie

If you’ve been a client of ours for some time, you may already know that Mignon and I are not just remedial massage therapists and myotherapists – we’re also passionate about cooking! We love trying out new recipes, sharing them with our loved ones, and collecting them in a big, messy pile of scribbled down notes and faded printouts. But recently, my hubby and I have decided to take our culinary adventures online by creating an Instagram page for our recipe collection. And to our surprise, it’s been gathering more followers than we ever expected!

Part of the reason why we love cooking so much is that it’s a way for us to unwind and bond after a long day of work. Whenever we’re not busy giving massages, we’re usually in the kitchen experimenting with new ingredients, techniques, and cuisines. We’ve tackled everything from classic Italian dishes to exotic Thai curries, and we’re always eager to try something new. That’s why, when we realized how many recipes we’ve accumulated over the years, we thought it would be fun to create an Instagram page to share them with the world.

Our Instagram page is called @thechillitimesfoodie, and it’s a mix of photography, videography, and good old-fashioned recipes. We’ve been having a lot of fun curating it and seeing people’s reactions to our meals. So far, our most popular recipes have been a beef curry and “Nikki’s Chicken Curry” – both of which got over 100 likes, saves and shares! We never thought we’d have more than a few followers, but it’s been a pleasant surprise.

One of the things we love about social media is that it gives us a chance to connect with people beyond the treatment table. We get to share our personal interests, hobbies, and quirks with our clients and potential clients. It also gives us a chance to showcase our personalities and let people get to know us as more than just health practitioners. After all, we’re real people with passions and interests just like everyone else!

Of course, we’re still myotherapists first and foremost. We take our jobs very seriously and always strive to provide the best care we can for our clients. But we also believe in the power of balance and self-care, which is why we make time for things like cooking, exercise, and spending time with loved ones. And we hope that by sharing our recipe collection, we can inspire others to do the same – to find joy in the little things in life and prioritize self-care.

In conclusion, we’re thrilled to have started this new adventure on social media and to have you along for the ride. We hope you’ll give our Instagram page a follow and enjoy the recipes we share. Who knows, maybe you’ll even discover a new favorite dish that you’ll pass down to your own family and friends. We believe that food has the power to bring people together and create lasting memories, and we’re excited to be a part of that magic. Thank you for your support and for being a part of our journey.
